“Excellent tour guide although the upper bus ceiling was way too low and the seats a little cramped. Meeting place was up the road from the designated spot and no-one came to advise or check if anyone was there! Would have loved an extra ½ hour on the island, and an extra 5-10 mins at the roads stops, but then it becomes a 15 hour day. Still would have gone. Otherwise an excellent experience, and very worth while.”

“Mont St.Michel is stunningly beautiful. Tips for travelers: 1) LOTS of stairs to climb, some quite steep, 2) 4-hour bus trip there, 5-hour return trip (the bus did stop mid-trip each way so there’s a break) 3) we took the nonguide audio only option…worked well.”

Normandy, Omaha Beach, American Cemetery have been on my travel list for some time, and our guide Lela was extremely knowledgeable and helpful the entire trip. Stayed and a nice hotel. “Mont St Michel was very impressive, but their tour information for tourists was poor. I had a problem with the shuttle bus system because there was no map showing the shuttle stop. Although my tour guide advised us to take a shuttle, the first comer speaking English to the area couldn’t get the reality on poor signs on the street. On the way to the parking lot, we met some French people, but no one can point where is the parking lot for bus. The worst thing was I couldn’t find my luggage in my bus. Just the bus driver asked me to search baggage. Finally my tour guide started…”
