“Visit to Chambord (largest castle but limited furnishings) Chenonceau (was beautifully appointed + family owned business) which included a wine tasting. This is a place to go back for a longer visit. There is a stop in Blois for lunch. Be prepared for a long drive (6 hrs return). Good exposure but cursory visit to each site.”

“Jasmina was a great guide and knew so much about the history of France and how it tied into the castles. it's a long day but well worth it. Going in January you might miss the blooming gardens but there was no crowd and our small group basically had both castles to ourselves.”
